RULES REGARDING PETS

We want everyone at The Meadows to enjoy living here, whether they have pets or not. To make sure our community remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place, we ask that all pet owners follow these rules:

  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when in all Common Areas
  • Pets may not be tied up outside or left unattended at any time
  • To help keep our community clean for everyone, please only use the designated pet relief areas: the grassy strip along Countryside Avenue and the rock strip along Sunflower. No other part of the property should be used as a pet bathroom.
  • Pet owners are required to immediately pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste.
  • For the safety of our children, please keep pets out of the playground areas and off the equipment.

Violators of these rules are subject to fines as outlined:

  1. First Offense: Written or Verbal warning
  2. Second Offense: $200 Fine
  3. Third Offense: $350 Fine
  4. Fourth Offense: Offending Pet Will Removed and Banned

The City of Rexburg also has rules and regulations regarding pets, including dogs, that must be followed. Click here to download the most current ordinance adopted by the Rexburg City Council. This includes licensing of dogs and leash laws that are also encapsulated into the Rules for Pets at the Meadows at Rexburg.
